Low never disappoints. This is (probably) my favourite record from this era of their career. Some of the harmonies on here will break your heart. Listen to this alone, late at night, when it's just snowed for the first time in the year.

Early Low has a very “minimal” sound that seems quite bare at first—the nice thing is that one acclimates to it and then the “bareness” renders the listener more sensitive to the layers of sounds, and with that sensitivity comes an emotional openness that is quite strong. This release is one of the colder sounding ones.
